Survey Draughting
The CGSS Survey draughting systems have been developed in close
association with mine staff in actual work situations. All systems
originate from planning system outputs and are always full 3D
spatially accurate systems. Input data comes from automatic downloads
from data loggers and total stations (electronic theodolites),
or from third party survey reduction software. The systems are
available for underground open stope operations, underground bord
and pillar operations and large or small scale open pits. A surface
plan management system is available and the system includes a
large array of drafting tools to aid in 3D draughting, plotting
and drawing management.
The Surface Plan module includes a management system to tile
drawings and raster images such as aerial photographs, satellite
images and scanned objects, to easily reference and attach adjacent
or spatially referenced drawings and images, and to manage the
plotting of tiled layouts etc.
The underground draughting module handles multiple level plans
based on consistent naming conventions, and the spatial referencing
of plans relative to each other. Survey station management and
reduction from data logger downloads is available, Blast long
hole drilling design is facilitated through real space positioning
of hole start and end positions and the generation of hole drilling
angles and lengths. Fan Rock bolting layout designs are also automated.
Underground bord and pillar operations also use the Station management
system, and include download data from data loggers for offset
pickups and monthly mining measure. Automated long sections and
contouring options are available.
Open pit draughting is managed through a thorough drawing management
system and the spatial referencing of drawing data is all automated.
Blast design is fully automated and interaction between the drill
and blast design and draughting functions is managed via the system.
All modules include plotting utilities as well as a host of draughting
and editing utilities not found in the standard AutoCAD package.
Requires AutoCAD R14 or AutoCAD 2000.
